From a small San Francisco apartment to a spacious Nashville home, Andi Teggart and Eric Burdullis learned how to make every square foot of a space warm and inviting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Eric\u2019s tech job relocated him from California to Tennessee, the family packed up their 650-square-foot San Francisco apartment and moved into a 100-year-old East Nashville home. The transition was enough to keep them quite busy. As parents to two young children, the home needed to be a cozy sanctuary. As small business owners, the space needed to inspire creativity. And they achieved their goals over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you make a historic home feel new? \u201cLots of white paint!\u201d they shared. \u201cThere was so much brown trim when we moved in. Other than that, we’ve made other small cosmetic changes, like swapping our hardware and light fixtures and other paint projects.\u201d No major renovations were made to the downstairs portion of the home used for film and photo shoots, but the decor choices are so thoughtful and balanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andi and Eric took significant inspiration for their home decor from a trip to Marrakesh, Morocco in the fall of 2019. After that trip, Andi started Lucky Collective<\/a>, a shop full of Moroccan homewares and textiles. \u201cWe’re both heavily inspired by travel and the gift of learning about and immersing ourselves in other places, cultures, and experiences,\u201d they said. Naturally, their home features many of the eye-catching products from the shop\u2014colorful pillows, textured rugs, soft cushions, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to gorgeous Middle Eastern home goods, the space also features abundant plant life. Every room is covered in thriving greenery, and the plentiful natural light surely helps the plants remain healthy. The family even has a curated greenhouse that Eric made from their deteriorated and termite-infested garage. Using recycled windows from the neighborhood, he transformed the space into an oasis and sought-after rental spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turns out, the greenhouse is an excellent film backdrop. \u201cWe recently hosted a CMT Campfire Session<\/a> with Jessie James Decker in the backyard this fall and that was pretty incredible to see!\u201d they shared. And the family has a clear message for another Nashville artist: \u201cTaylor Swift is more than welcome<\/em> to shoot a music video here!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From San Francisco to Nashville, inspired by travels all around the world, Andi and Eric created a welcoming, bright filming location that feels like home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
