Community Spotlight: Anne Rhett

“I had limited time in town, and while we wanted to shoot in the streets of Germantown, we needed a plan B. Enter AVVAY!”

— Anne Rhett

“Madeleine and I had been wanting to shoot together while I was passing through Nashville to see a show with some friends, but when I landed the skies were looking very stormy. I had limited time in town, and while we wanted to shoot in the streets of Germantown, we needed a plan B. Enter AVVAY! I found a venue in East Nasty and loved the owner’s aesthetic: dark walls, musical instruments, natural light. She was very responsive and invited me to book that same evening. Boom. Done! I love the resulting images and am so glad I found your services.”

We love hearing these stories. Especially when creatives like Anne are turning to our site in these eleventh hour moments that are exactly the reason we started AVVAY. For creative people to be far less limited by timelines, schedules, and budgets.

Well done, Anne! Thanks for being a part of the AVVAY community.

Some of our favorite spaces are the re-imagined and re-purposed places around town with character and magic that could never be possible without hosts who are equally innovative.

This East Nashville Cottage is a shining example of exactly that. The owners, both musicians, have filled this creative space “with colors and antiques that inspire us- we’ve written a hundred songs in our music room, have hosted photo shoots and video shoots, and enjoy sharing our home with other creative souls. The 2bd, 1ba main level of our home has excellent natural light and the open floor plan allows for lots of flex space.”
