These rates are all based on access to one full warehouse, we have three warehouses and an exterior space that can be added to your rental should you need more space for your project.
This 16,000 square foot industrial warehouse complex is a one-stop shop with multiple indoor and outdoor areas, huge industrial stages, a loft apartment, rooftops and so much more. The perfect backdrop for music video shoots, large film productions, editorial photo shoots, and the list goes on!

Light EQ available such as V flats, distro cable package and expendables like tables, chairs, wardrobe racks, steamers etc. The 1896 has partnerships with our neighbors at BE ELECTRIC and CSI, Eastern Effects & ROOT. Be Electric extends our clients a 35% discount, free delivery & day-of additions at a minimal delivery charge. CSI, located around the corner, offers discounts as well. We're happy to make an introduction.
No refunds are given due to cancellation of event or shoot once confirmed. We may be able to reschedule your rental for a date that does not conflict with our rental calendar, but this is at the discretion of The 1896 and may incur a penalty fee. Cancellations will be invoiced for the full amount.
A studio assistant is assigned to every rental and will be on site to help with all location needs.

* Our power situation at The 1896:
• Each interior stage has 450 Amps of power total - including CAM LOK and all outlets throughout.
• Each interior stage has a CAM LOK box with 300 amps of power (rated 450 amps) male and female. Three phase. Each leg is 150amp max.
• In addition we have 110v outlets throughout (see floorplan) including several individual 30 amp lines depending on the stage.
• Distro hookups are not included with your rental
All spaces have overhead lights and load bearing beams for your lighting and rigging needs.
