Bushwick Community Darkroom is your analog playground — fully equipped B&W/color darkrooms, flexible studio space, and gallery walls for shoots, pop-ups, micro-events, or workshops. Full facility rentals run $400–$600/hr; smaller shoots or partial use start at $50/hr. Host art shows, tiny weddings, screenings, or offsites. BYO drinks, snacks, and ideas — we’re here for bold projects, creative freedom, and keeping film alive with a rad, supportive community.

Rules

Respect the space + gear. No smoking indoors. Keep noise low after 10 PM. No darkroom use without OK. BYO food/drinks fine; clean up after. Setup/takedown in booked time. Max 30 guests. No adult shoots or illegal stuff. Leave it better than you found it!

Personnel

A staff member is usually on-site to open the door, answer questions, and help you get set up. We can also recommend photographers, lab techs, or assistants for hire.
