About This Location

Located in SLC’s Ballpark Neighborhood, West Main Studio is a 5,000 sq. ft. standalone space built for photo and film productions. It features a 40' x 20' x 16' white cyc wall, polished concrete floors, and blackout-capable natural light for full lighting control. A fully equipped kitchen, 200 AMPs of power, on-site grip and lighting, and a private fenced-in parking lot make it a versatile, production-friendly space for commercial and editorial shoots.

Equipment

We have a large variety of Aputure continuous lighting, Profoto strobe lighting, and all the grip equipment, stands, etc. that you may need.

While not a fully soundproof stage, the studio has worked well for shoots recording sound. We’ve hosted many successful productions with interviews and dialogue. Tenants in the back offices are notified in advance and asked to limit noise and use the rear entrance. Sharing your schedule helps us support a quieter set during key moments.

Rules

Space should be left broom clean, excess garbage should be taken out. Nails, screws, and strong tape are prohibited from being used on walls and cyc without approval. No walking or sliding on cyc wall transition. No nudity without prior permission. No smoking or pets without prior approval.
