Both of us are performing artists and teachers. Esther is a musician specializing in medieval and early music as well as a music teacher; Stepan is a theatre director and translator, and a Professor of Theatre at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. We're both immigrants; Esther from Switzerland and Stepan form the Czech Republic.
